Independent study of the game production pipeline. (There will very likely be assistance from several peers once I get past the concept art and 3D main character phase. Who wouldn't want to work on a game?)

Goal: To create one interactive puzzle-based 3D room and one user operated character utilizing Maya.

To-Do List:

  • Develop script
  • Character Design - side note: intend to sculpt some characters that I won't get to in the one room from mixed media during class time
  • Concept Art - Design the world utilizing a dash of imagination and a heck of a lot of reference research
  • Level Design - the nuts and bolts of the puzzle room
  • Modeling... and the rest... - Start by modeling, rigging, and texturing the main character. Once the puzzle room design is complete, begin modeling that...

So that's what I'm working on for now. When I get to the actual modeling of the room, I'll post the next steps I will be taking.
